Volunteers Volunteers are absolutely essential to Freshwinds. Without them, we would not be able to offer our clients the high levels of care and support that we are renowned for. With thirty-seven staff (plus another 13 by the end of October 2007), and over 3,000 clients, the support of our dedicated team of volunteers is vital. Our team of Volunteers make an in-kind contribution of over £1,500,000 per year to Freshwinds. Therefore we value them extremely highly. All Volunteers receive appropriate training and travel expenses. Volunteers have access to dedicated Volunteer Co-ordinator who works with them to organise their work. Our current team of over 200 Volunteers is testament to our ongoing commitment to Volunteer development and include skills such as: therapists | administration | IT support | marketing | fundraising Our aim is to have 250-300 Volunteers. |
