Sessional Support Workers
Freshwinds is looking to expand our bank of Sessional Support Workers to cover a range of support roles within the Charity. Our support programmes provide a holistic and integrated model of support which enables our clients to achieve their independence.
Sessional Support workers will work from our main offices in Selly Oak as well as in various outreach locations within the community.
Sessional Support Workers will be self-employed and hours of work will be flexible to suit individual circumstances although work will usually be delivered between 8am and 6pm Monday to Friday.

Prevention and Health Improvement Officer
£26,000 per annum (inclusive of 6% pension contribution) plus performance related bonus.
37.5 hours per week.
25 days annual leave per year (plus bank holidays)
This is a new post which has arisen through our strategic plan to develop new Public Health and Well-being services. The post will assist in developing and initiating programmes in the areas of prevention and health improvement and promotion.
The successful candidate will have strong leadership and public health skills, and the ability to communicate at all levels. They must also have the drive and vision to realise this unique opportunity which will have a lasting impact on the health and well-being of the local population. Service User Involvement & Advocacy Worker
£15,883 – £16,999 pa, pro rata • Coventry • Ref: COV/12/16
1 x 37 hours per week • 1 x 18.5 hours per week
Aquarius and Freshwinds are working in partnership to develop and deliver a new and exciting service for substance misuse service users, their families and carers on behalf of Coventry City Council. This service aims to involve service users, family members and carers in how services are planned, developed, commissioned and delivered and provide direct advocacy support to clients.
