MHIAN The Midlands HIV Inter-Agency Network was set up in 1999 to improve HIV services in the Midlands and to improve partnerships between organisations, in order to enhance the quality of services in the Midlands for people living with HIV. It was recognised that more could be done to help people living with HIV and their significant others, by offering support, assistance, back to work training and advocacy. Working in partnership with other agencies will build capacity, expertise, resources and confidence so that all agencies are able to increase, extend and enhance the help and assistance they offer to their constituent communities in providing education, skills enhancement and increased employment opportunites to alleviate poverty, social exclusion and disadvantage.
