Joint International Project Dr Rhonda Lee MBBS; MPMDC; CAu; Dip. Arom; MAHP(Int)Director of Integrated Medicine, Vice President of Freshwinds and supports Dr Deng, she has a wide background in both medicine and complementary therapies within the context of life-limiting and lifethreatening illnesses. The national lead for the Children's Complementary Therapy Network UK, Principle of Freshwinds Institute of Integrated Medicine (FIIM). Dr Pankaj Shah MB ChB, PaediatricianMany years experience in the UK NHS, and is currently the medical officer for Freshwinds dealing especially with children and families, working on a number of regional committees for palliative care and support. The above are supported by an extensive network of medical and healthcare professionals who are available to support logistically and in the design of programmes and practices etc. Many of whom come from the diaspora communities of Africa, especially Sudan: both south and north. Mohammed Al-Rahim, ACH, DCH, ADCH, DMBSCH, MNFSH With a wide background in psychotherapy and international business, Mohammed is the founder and president of Freshwinds and co-founder and chairman of the African Community Council for the Regions. Having worked in both Africa and Saudi Arabia on a number of projects at both director and operations management levels, he subsequently returned to the UK and founded the above organisations in order to assist and develop new methodologies of care and support on a truly inclusive and diverse equality basis assisting communities to live in peace and harmony both in the UK and in Africa. Over the past 15 years he has raised millions of pounds for these organisations. Currently programme coordinator for ACCR, elderly and social care projects for ACCR, Daisy also assists the community and community organisations to develop and provide innovative, culturally appropriate services. Joseph Edwards - Ethiopian Insight Tour & Production Manager (1985 - 1999), Director for Sheshemane Pioneers Settlers Corp Housing Development to assist elderly African descendants from the Diaspora in their return to Africa (1992 - 1999), Coordinator to support rural schools & Micky Leland Children Orphanage in Addis Ababa, over 1000 people benefited (1995 - 2003), Coordinator for the support to the Relief & Rehabilitation Department & Ethiopian Church projects for the poor, over 2000 people benefited (1997 - 1999), Coordinator for creating 3 libraries in Addis, Lalibela, Gondar (1998), Director of African Arts Exhibition in Newtown Birmingham 150 people attended (2000), Director of Insight Pilgrims Ethiopian Tour (over 70 people from 1997 - ongoing), Director of Jewels of African History in Multimedia - to promote African Identity and Awareness (2000 ongoing), African Communications Day - to develop communications between Africans (2003 & 04), Director of Heritage Learning Tree Programme 200 people (2004), & Community Learning Tree Programme - community development, 360 people (2005), Insight Action Desk for Employment, Training & Self - Development in partnership with W.I.N - Pertemps Employment Alliance (2005), Director of New Flower Amharic Language Programme (2005), International Peace Week (2005). His Excellency Brig. Gatlauk Garang, Chairman of Kondial, Federal Minister of Animal Resources and Fisheries for the Democratic Republic of Sudan Brig. Special Force commander of the Sudanese Air Force army Airborne Division; Governor of Greater Upper Nile Region (1989 - 1992); Federal Minister of coordination and state affairs (local governments) (1992 - 1993); Federal Minister of Health (1993 - 1996); Federal Minister of Survey and Physical Development (1996 - 2000); President for Coordinating Councils (2001 - 2003); Federal Minister of Animal Resources and Fisheries (2003 - present). His Excellency is a highly regarded and respected man of integrity well known in Sudan for his stand on equality of opportunity and impartiality for all the people of Sudan with a deep and abiding commitment to the peace and harmony of all the peoples of Sudan. His commitment to Kondial for many years has been an inspiration for all those he has assisted. We have a large number of professionals from the diaspora communities that have an extensive amount of NGO and international experience that support and work with us on the above programmes. In particular we have a large pool of Sudanese professionals for the above project.
