CCTN Conferences

The focus of this conference was on Complementary Therapies and Children's Palliative Care and took place at Birmingham's Children's Hospital.

The focus of this conference was on the use of complementary therapies to help children with asthma, eczema and cerebral palsy.The conference also launched the Network’s “Tell Your Doctor” poster campaign to encourage parents to discuss with their doctors / medical teams about their use of complementary therapies for their children.

This conference was on ‘Complementary Therapies and Autism’. It was very well attended by health professionals from various backgrounds. A network wide evaluation was launched on the use of complementary therapies in children with Autism.

The Conference formally launched the Network . The conference topic was on ’New Beginnings: Setting up a Service’, in 2005. This conference was made possible through the support of ‘Awards for All’ funding as well as resources and volunteer support from Freshwinds Charity.
