Map West Saturday Club
Between 2003-06 we introduced complementary therapies at Map West Saturday Club. This is a play scheme for parents and their children with disabilities. As part of this scheme parents and children received complementary therapies and were taught simple techniques, which they were able to use on their child or family at home. Sadly, due to funding reasons this project ended in 2006, but we are endeavoring to try and find other sources of support.

Children's Complementary Therapy Network
Freshwinds is the Founding and Lead member of Children's complementary therapy network. The overall aim is to produce guidelines on using complementary therapies in children and providing a platform of training and education for therapist working with children. To learn more click here.
